BMW has used the large and narrow Curved Display to align the vehicle’s interior contemporality to the exterior, although it has also kept the BMW’s signature control iDrive. The system works fairly well, with a menu structure following the latest digital trends, a level of customisation typically offered by German OEMs, and some delightful touches. However, it is unfortunate that the sheer amount of real estate hasn’t been used to further reduce the number of clicks required to accomplish most tasks.
