Report Summary:

Strategy Analytics conducted a user experience benchmark of the Intelligent Parking Assist system on the 2016 Toyota Prius.  First-time users of the system found the visual display difficult to understand, though the progress bar was useful.  Study participants lamented the lack of an audible alert indicating that a space was detected, and found the numerous other alerts annoying.  Many steering movements were not natural, especially during the back-in parking scenario.  All of these factors led most participants to rate the system negatively overall, leading to a relatively low IVX score.
