User Experience Benchmark: Ford SYNC3

Strategy Analytics conducted a user experience benchmark of the Ford SYNC3 infotainment system. The responsive touchscreen allowed for quick interactions and the row of icons along the bottom provided easy access to features. Navigation search using the touchscreen was a significant improvement. Speech recognition for address entry was impressive but was fragile for other key tasks. SYNC3 still has issues in recognizing the availability of smartphone apps.
