Strategy Analytics conducted a UX benchmark study of the 2016 Volkswagen Golf, focusing on the integration of Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and MirrorLink with the embedded infotainment system. Participants had difficulty in accessing CarPlay and Android Auto from the embedded infotainment system, and MirrorLink was very unstable across multiple devices. Participants also conducted a subset of tasks while driving on public roadways.
