Strategy Analytics surveyed consumers in the US, Western Europe, and China regarding their usage of and satisfaction with infotainment, as well as their interest in infotainment features for their next vehicle. Daily usage of AM/FM radio has declined slightly, but remains the most-used and most-desired infotainment feature in the car. Usage of CD players continues its steep decline, though no infotainment source has clearly stepped up to take its place. Interest in brought-in devices and live internet radio remains strong but has levelled off from 2015.
