Strategy Analytics surveyed car owners in the US, Western Europe, and China regarding their satisfaction with ten different aspects of their in-car touchscreens.  Car owners from most segments in all regions express decreasing satisfaction with their on-board touchscreens, and two factors show immediate need for improvement.  Strategies for mitigating pervasive hardware issues and improving owner satisfaction are discussed.
