Strategy Analytics undertook a worldwide internet-based survey to investigate car owners’ interest in in-vehicle gaming. A total of 4,782 car owners across the US (1,572), UK, France, Germany, Italy (1,678 in total), and China (1,532) were surveyed.
Consumers were asked about their interest in having video games or gaming apps available in the vehicle for passengers to play, and for the driver to play when the vehicle is not in motion.
Overall, consumers in China are far more willing to have vehicle embedded video games or gaming apps in their cars –over half of them would either pay more or consider them a tie-breaker-, compared to both Europeans and Americans –less than a third-
