Report Summary:

Strategy Analytics surveyed consumers in the US, Europe, and China regarding in-vehicle connectivity and connected services.  Drive-relevant information such as traffic updates and parking finders remain of highest interest to a majority of consumers.  While the presence of in-vehicle connectivity remains important to the vehicle purchase decision, consumers’ interest has fallen slightly since 2015.  Consumer interest in free payment models for connectivity has dropped slightly since 2015, but remains high across all regions.
