Strategy Analytics surveyed consumers in the US, Western Europe, and China regarding speech recognition usage and satisfaction, along with touchscreen satisfaction. Speech recognition usage has increased in the US and China due to satisfaction with ease of use and task time. However, speech recognition usage and satisfaction remains flat in Western Europe. Touchscreen satisfaction has increased as has satisfaction with the amount of fingerprint smudging.
