Report Summary:

Strategy Analytics surveyed car owners in China, the US, and Western Europe regarding their interest in automated parking and driving features.  Skeptical consumers were also asked about their concerns with traffic jam assist, lane change assist, automated assistants for parking and highway driving, and fully automated driving.  Interest in automated features shows signs of a rebound, especially among key car-buying segments in one particular region. Gaining the interest (and trust) of skeptical consumers will require a multi-pronged effort, as mere exposure to the technology will not be sufficient to address their myriad of concerns.
