Report Summary:

Strategy Analytics conducted semi-structured exploratory interviews with legally blind people in the US, UK, and Australia regarding their transport experiences, needs, and pain points.  Participants were asked about the opportunities and challenges in designing a useful driverless robo-taxi or ride-hailing service.  Automated cars, buses, and taxis could potentially revolutionize travel, and unlock increased independence for the sight loss community.  But given what we know about AV fleets currently on the road, how well do suppliers understand this community, and how well are they designing for them?
