On September 23rd, Xilinx and Continental, announced that Xilinx will power Continental’s new 4D imaging RADAR Sensor (ARS) 540 with the Zynq® UltraScale+™ MPSoC platform. Use cases will span from ADAS to autonomous driving from SAE Level 2 up towards full autonomous driving, Level 5. Xilinx and Continental are early entrants in the production of automotive 4D imaging though the market is becoming crowded with companies with competing technologies.
