Report Summary:

As vehicles adopt more ADAS and autonomous driving features, the number of electronic control units, sensors and wiring required also increases.  Using current vehicle architectures, this will lead to unsustainable levels of complexity, weight and cost to OEMs.  New vehicle architectures, involving centralized topologies, consolidating domain control modules and high bandwidth data “backbones” will be necessary in order to develop future more complicated electronic systems that will support ADAS and autonomous driving solutions.
