Summary

This report presents the findings of Strategy Analytics’ User Evaluation of the Samsung Galaxy Note undertaken in May, 2012 in San Diego, USA. Participants found the added features of the Galaxy Note intriguing and useful, such as app folders, motion control and the S-Pen. Participants had high success and satisfaction levels across most tasks. However, participants did experience usability issues in relation to motion control and using the S-pen to capture screen shots. Most participants found the Samsung Galaxy Note to be thin and light weight, with the majority of male participants commenting positively on the bigger size of the device. However most female participants found the bigger size harder to hold, and were less interested in purchasing the device than males.
