Motorola Mobility (MMI) is back doing what it does best - making leading-edge, highly-engineered RF devices – in the form of Smartphones and Tablets. It uses other companies’ solutions for what it has struggled to do: it uses Android and its associated Ecosystem for the OS, Apps and Services, contenting itself with MOTOBLUR as an integrating platform; and it uses ODMs for the low-mid tier voice-centric or Phone sector. MMI also serves the Video Set-Top Box and System market, mainly in North America, where it has a relatively stable business.
