Emerging Markets Communications Strategies
As Director for the Emerging Markets Communications Strategies service, Tom Elliott is responsible for providing Strategy Analytics clients with information on mobile communications services, device trends, consumer requirements, competitor strategies and regulatory developments in high growth emerging markets.
Prior to this position, Tom headed the North American consulting effort and managed proprietary projects assessing market potential, examining competitive positioning, evaluating product feature/functionality and addressing business entry strategies in a wide range of technology areas for a global client base.
A founding member of the Strategy Analytics team, Tom was previously employed by IDC as Director of Research and by Gulf Oil as a corporate planning manager.
With 30 years experience in the analysis of technology markets, Tom brings a unique perspective on the issues of communications in the developing world.
Tom holds an AB from Harvard College and an SM (Mgt) from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
