As a Senior Analyst with Strategy Analytics’ User Experience Practice, Caroline Park researches all areas of consumer use of technology within the home with a specific focus on behaviours, attitudes, motivations and preferences. Through ethnographic research techniques, Caroline investigates emerging behaviors including online video consumption, social TV, and device multi-tasking.Caroline has over 8 years’ experience as a usability expert and an ethnographer. She specialises in qualitative research and has executed multiple software development projects studying users at all stages of the software development cycle. She also has practical experience of experimental research into system usage focused on quantitative methodologies.Prior to joining Strategy Analytics in 2011 Caroline was a member of the research faculty at Glasgow Caledonian University where she lectured on topics related to Human Computer Interaction and Research Design. She has recently completed her PhD Thesis in Knowledge Exchange and holds a BSc in Computing with a focus on Human Factors. She has also worked as a consultant on multiple government funded development projects.
