Rahul is responsible for Strategy Analytics’ research on Emerging Market Communication Service in the capacity of the Manager. His portfolio includes analyzing emerging markets in South Asia which include India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam etc. He covers the entire ecosystem of telecom market including mobile operators, mobile devices and mobile application providers in these markets. He also supports the broader Global Wireless Practice activities, which reinforces EMCS value proposition to existing and prospective customers. Prior to joining Strategy Analytics, Rahul was responsible for executing and managing BDA’s India Wireless and Handset Advisory Services. His research & consulting portfolio covered all aspects related to wireless industry and cellular handset devices and supply chain.Rahul worked as a Manager, Client Services at AC Nielsen, the company within the Nielsen group which covers their IT and telecom operations, and was responsible for identifying new research areas in IT and Telecom, along with adding technical, functional, and industry specialization to design and deliver solutions against clients’ research requirements.He also worked as an Assistant Editor with South Asia’s leading telecom & networking magazine “Voice & Data”. He was responsible for overall editorial planning and execution of all market research and survey projects.Rahul holds a Post Graduate degree in Mass Communication in Science & Technology from Lucknow University, India.
